Iris Mittenaere of France wins Miss Universe 2016 #MissUniverse

Miss France Iris Mittenaere bested 85 other beautiful girls for the title of Miss Universe 2016, succeeding 2015 winner Pia Wurtzbach of the Philippines.

The coronation night was held Sunday night (Monday morning, Manila time), January 29, 2017, at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Philippines, hosted by Steve Harvey.
Miss Philippines Maxine Medina only had a Top 6 finish, getting cut after the Top 6 interviews.
The Top 3 also included Miss Colombia Andrea Tovar, who was named 2nd runner-up, and Miss Haiti Raquel Pellisier, who was named the 1st runner-up.
Meanwhile, along with Philippines, the Top 6 also had Kenya and Thailand.
Miss USA Deshauna Barber only made as far as the Top 9, along with misses from Mexico and Canada.
Delegates from Indonesia, Peru, Panama and Brazil were part of the Top 13.
